Students Applying for Fall 2025 Transfer Admissions to Universities:

Timeline:

  • The Fall 2025 CSU & UC transfer admission application period:  October 1 - December 2, 2024**
  • Apply for FAFSA/CADAA by April 2nd (deadline extended) for 2025-26. List all the universities applied for Fall 2025 transfer admissions 
  • Admissions decisions released March - April via email
  • Financial aid packages available in April 
  • Accept admissions offers to a university: May - June (May 1st for CSU and June 1st for UC)

CSU fee waivers may be available for low-income students. Please visit the Transfer Center (MUB 101) for more information. There are no fee waivers for the UC application. 

The Transfer Center can also assist with checking open campuses, majors, deadlines, and the application process. Please come in during Drop-in hours for assistance. The  Drop-in schedule is linked at the bottom under the "Drop-in Counseling" tab. 

Students Not Transferring for Spring or Fall 2025

Academic counseling is available for students who have transfer questions. All CCSF counselors are knowledgeable on transfer requirements. Please visit the Counseling Services and Programs website for counseling information and appointments.

Universities like UC Berkeley, SF State, HBCUs, and others have free virtual events for students. We have a list and continually add more as we receive invitations for our CCSF students. Keep checking the Latest News link for events throughout the semester.

About the Transfer Center

The Transfer Center is the hub of transfer information and events for 红莲社区 of San Francisco. We offer support and resources to help students prepare and successfully transfer to a four-year degree program. We train all CCSF counselors on transfer requirements so they can best assist students with their transfer goals.  

Connect with a Transfer Center Counselor:

Appointments by referral. Students must receive a referral from an academic counselor for a Transfer Center appointment. 

CCSF and the Transfer Center will be closed for Spring Break: March 31- April 4. We will reopen on Monday, April 7th.

The Transfer Center will be hosting a variety of in-person and virtual events throughout the semester for students applying for Spring or Fall 2025 transfer admissions. Please keep checking our website for details.

 

 

Drop-In Counseling Schedule:

February 2 - May 21

*Closed: March 31 - April 4 for Spring Break*

  • Mondays: 10 am - 12 pm in MUB 101

    • No drop-in: February 24th, March 3rd,  April 7th,  and April 21st

  • Tuesdays: 1- 3 pm in MUB 101

    • No drop-in: March 11th, March 18th, March 25th 

  • Wednesdays: 2 - 4 pm in MUB 101

    • No drop-in: March 19th, March 26th 

  • Thursdays:  1-3 pm via Zoom ()

    • No drop-in: March 6th, March 20th, March 27

  • Students not applying for Spring 2025 or Fall 2025 transfer admissions: Academic counseling is available for students who have transfer questions and educational plans.
